Check out this scrummy chocolate centered, macaroon covered masterpiece! It was made for a 30th birthday party and went down a (Gilly)treat! No one wants a standard cake for their big 3-0 so this had to be special. It was designed to be sophisticated yet fun and the colourful macaroons added a bit of cheeky prettiness to the outside of the cake. I dropped it off at Tom's KItchen in Sommerset house and it was met with 'Ooos' and 'Aahs' by the staff there so I'm guessing it went down pretty well by the gaggle of partying ladies that picked it up later in the evening!
